Learn how to change any photo into a cool
cartoon sketch.
Step 1: Start with an image you would like to perform the perfect
cartoon effect on IMO.
Step 2: Next duplicate the layer, and go to Filter -> Stylize -> Glowing
Edges (Settings: 1,8,4).
Step 3: Put the blending mode on "Soft Light" and merge the layer
down by going up to Layer -> Merge Down (CTRL + E). Than to go a nice color
effect, go up to Image -> Adjustments -> Auto Color, and duplicate the layer
once more. With the new duplicated layer go up to Filter -> Blur -> Motion
Blur (Settings: Angle 0, 500px).
Step 4: Now go to Image -> Adjustments -> Levels and drag the right
slider over a little to put the brightness up some. Now put the blending
mode to "Vivid Light", feel free to experiment, or you don't even need to
do this step, it's all up to you now to perfect it. Enjoy.
